SENIOR THESIS FILM FEBRUARY 2025

My senior thesis film, which I worked on over the course of two semesters. I wrote a 17-page script and made casting and production decisions to bring it to life. I led a team of 20 crew members for three twelve-hour days of production. I worked directly with actors to help bring about the desired performances.

I created a shot list with the director to help plan her vision. I operated an ARRI Alexa camera, decided which lens to use for each shot, and the position of the camera. I directed the camera team on what to do for each shot.

A film I directed for my Advanced Production class, written by a fellow classmate. I directed a crew of 15 on each of their roles. I scouted and chose locations. I worked directly with actors to help bring about the desired performances.

As Co-producer, I helped manage money, as well as organize crew, transportation, and food. As1st Assistant Camera, I operated a Tilta Nucleus-M, as well as a manual focus puller to pull focus for each shot. I also assisted the Director of Photography with building the camera, as well as moving the camera to the desired position.

I operated the slate at the beginning of each take and updated the slate to match the characteristics of each take. I also assisted the Director of Photography with lens and battery changes, as well as placing markers for actors.

As a grip, I assisted the Gaffer with setting up various lights and lighting equipment. As BTS Photographer, I captured photographs while set up and shooting occurred.
